Catalog policy

Humanoid robot catalog scope

The primary HumanoidHub robot catalog includes records whose existing taxonomy explicitly identifies a humanoid or biped humanoid robot and whose record contains source evidence. Conflicting or incomplete classifications stay out of public robot discovery until reviewed.

Outside the primary catalog

The following classes may remain in the internal knowledge base for review, but they are not counted, compared, indexed as robot profiles, or included in the robot sitemap:

  • Industrial arms and cobots
  • Mobile bases, UGVs, and AMRs
  • Quadrupeds
  • Components and end effectors
  • Software-only platforms

Humanoid-adjacent records

Service, education, healthcare, and companion classifications are reviewed separately. They are not promoted into the primary humanoid catalog without explicit, source-backed humanoid taxonomy.
