Figure Helix

In brief

Figure Helix is Figure's in-house vision-language-action model, the AI brain shipped on Figure 03. It takes the robot's camera feeds plus a natural-language instruction and outputs whole-body motor commands, including the S0 perception policy for stair traversal and obstacle handling.

Helix is a closed model — Figure has not published architecture details — but its capability has been publicly demonstrated. It powers the manipulation, locomotion, and instruction-following on Figure 03 units shipped from the BotQ production line.

The S0 perception policy that ships alongside Helix is notable as a public sim-to-real success: trained in simulation, deployed zero-shot on real Figure 03 hardware for stair traversal and rough-terrain locomotion.
