CES 2026: LG to debut new CLOiD humanoid robot for the home

LG Electronics plans to showcase the newest member of the LG CLOi robot family, the LG CLOiD humanoid robot, at CES 2026 next week in Las Vegas. The company hasn’t shown any full-body views of the robot yet, but it described it as humanoid in appearance, with dual seven degree-of-freedom arms and five-fingered hands. LG is positioning CLOiD as a home assistant with the marketing messaging “Zero-Labor Home Makes Quality Time.” The South Korean company is promising a future where technology meaningfully reduces the burden of daily chores, allowing customers to focus more on the people and moments that matter most.
